The Department of Arabic Language celebrated the World Arabic Language Day on 18/12/2016. Dr. Rajaa Shaheen- a Professor of Arabic at the Department- talked about a few characteristics of the Arabic language and its place among languages. Several shows about the Arabic dialects and the classic language marked by poems and plays ensued. Then the celebration concluded with a Corner made for showing common mistakes in Arabic. The Department thanked the Deanship of Student Affairs for organizing the activities with the Student Activity Unit.
