The Academic Advising Unit was set up based on the decision of the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sudair. The aim of the unit is to ensure that quality and accreditation standards are met by academic departments which will help in achieving the objectives of the college.

AAU coordinates with academic departments to prepare academic programs to earn the internal and external program academic accreditation.
