Workshops at the English Department

Students of the seventh grade of the English department had in the amphitheatre, on Tuesday 2nd December 2014, two workshops under the supervision of Dr. Ihsan Muhamad Abdulkader. The first about Learning English with the Computer Help that contained the role of computer in handling linguistic problems (listening, speaking, spelling, and oral expression), with clarifying specialized websites and providing efforts, time, good offers (PowerPoint), and clarifying the role of technology in teaching and learning. The number of attendants was great; more than 110 of students and faculty members from different departments. The second, however, took place on Thursday, 4th December 2014, and it was about English grammar- a science that deals with linguistic basics and laws. This workshop encompassed analyses of linguistic rules such as the noun, the verb, the subject, the object, the passive form, the adjective, the adverb, and others, in addition to the number and the numbered. The workshop that was prepared and directed by Latifa Asswayeh, Aisha Al-Issa, Sarah Al-Mazroua, and Samia Al-Atibi witnessed a great attendance; more than 120 students
