A workshop entitled: The Academic Counseling and the University Systems

On the basis of the College role of enhancing the educative process of the Faculty members and answering their queries concerning the Academic Counseling and the University systems, the “Student Support Unit” has organized a workshop for “Academic Counseling and University Systems”, supported by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. / Yousef bin MohammedAl-mihwis, and delivered by His Excellency Dr. / Mahmoud Jaballah. The meeting focused on a number of important articles that had been discussed and provided the opportunity for the Faculty to ask questions about these articles. The meeting themes could be summarized as follows: 1- Presenting the most problematic issues for the students concerning the deletions, additions, and withdrawal from a course or a term. 2- Presenting the student’s most prominent concerns (the academic record - the student plan according to the passed and remaining courses). 3-Discussing the study plans, and the students problems related to the Educative courses and optional University requirements. 4-Explaining the tests mechanism approved by the College Council No. 15 which had been held on 14/06/1435 AH, and had agreed upon the presented suggestions about the College’s testing mechanism.
