A Workshop Entitled “Testing Design and Linking Questions with the Decision Owner’s Targets: Mechanisms and Specifications of Test Making

” With regards to the college’s role of taking care of its employees of faculty members, and in order to promote the efficiency of the educational process, the Measurement and calibration Unit organized a workshop entitled “Testing Design and Linking Questions with the Decision Owner’s Targets: Mechanisms and Specifications of Test Making”, on Tuesday 25th November 2014. Under the direction of Dr. Othman Attayeb, the workshop covered the following points: 1. The difference between measurement and calibration, the relationship between both of them, and which of them is more comprehensive. 2. The content, its definition and its analysis into measurable targets. 3. Defining testing and its types, its advantages and disadvantages, and how different mechanisms of testing match with the nature of targets. At the end, all questions and inquiries were answered which had an enriching impact on the subject of matter.
