A Workshop entitled “How to set up a qualitative initiative”

The Vice-Dean’s Office at female campus in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Studies conducted a workshop entitled “How to set up a qualitative initiative”.
Presented by Dr. Dalia Al-Sadiq on Tuesday, the workshop provided an overview of the Qualitative Initiative Center (QIC) at the university which includes vision, mission, responsibilities, associated departments, and its importance as being directly under the management of MU Rector’s office.
Dr. Al-Sadiq also explained the concept of qualitative initiative and its wide fields (i.e. education, research, administration, infrastructure) as well as the right way of filling out the initiative form on the university website.
A hands-on training was offered highlighting the steps of starting a developmental qualitative initiative with a particular focus on how the initiative’s objectives can be linked with the university’s strategic goals and the necessity of having measurable performance indicators of the objectives.
At the end of the workshop, the presenter pointed out that the university is very interested in adopting any initiative or project of benefit for the educational and research process as well as its infrastructure.
