The Community Service Unit in cooperation with the Department of Contemporary Islamic Studies in the College visited the Charity Society in Hawtat Sudair on Sunday 16/6/1439.
The aim of the visit was to introduce students to the reality of volunteering in the community environment, to identify suitable opportunities to serve the community, as well as to introduce students to the role of charitable societies in community service. The role of community service was also introduced.
During the visit, Dr. Khaled Al-Sarhid, head of the Community Service Unit in the college, explained the objectives of the unit and its role in community service.
He also thanked the members of the Association for hosting students and introducing them to volunteer work. He mentioned that the students of the Department of Islamic Studies have a course called voluntary work and that they will benefit from the visit as a practical application.
This visit comes within the programs of the operational plan of the community service unit for the academic year 1438-1439.
