The Role Of Family In Protecting Children From Deviation

The Intellectual Awareness Unit organized a program entitled "Role of Family in Preventing Children from Deviation" on Wednesday, 18/05/1438 at the College Theater. The target group was the general education staff, the mothers of the students and the faculty members. The program addressed the importance of the family role in preventing children from delinquency and ways of raising them. Mr. Rana Al-Saud gave a speech in which she spoke about the blessing of security and the role of family in raising children and the impact of intellectual awareness on them. After that, the Vice-Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Norah Al-Shihri, spoke about educational issues and the impact of faith in raising children. That was followed by a section entitled "There is an Extremist in our House”. Dr. Dalia Sadiq and Dr. Sadiya Al-Kabeer talked about education from the perspective of the Qur'an and the Sunna and the way to deal with the son with extremist ideology and the methods of prevention and treatment. A questionnaire was then distributed to measure the satisfaction of the audience. The participants also praised the program. A number of recommendations came out of it such as the establishment of more programs that serve the community and raise awareness in cooperation with other institutions and the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Hawat Sudair.
