Reception of New Students

The Department of Islamic Studies at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Hawtat Sedeir held a reception for its new students. Students of the 5th level helped in the organization of the event, which started by a recitation from the Holy Quran. A welcoming speech by the Supervisor of the Department, Dr. Zainab Mokhtar followed, where she talked about the vision and mission of the Faculty. Then Dr. Wafaa Hussein welcomed the students and congratulated them on their new semester. Short competitions and quizzes were conducted at the reception, and leaflets about the Faculty and its activities were distributed to students as well.
