Ideas for Voluntary Work

The Alumni Unit held the second course as part of a series of volunteer work courses on the theme "Ideas about Volunteer Work" for female graduates on Sunday 9/6/1439 at the Training Hall. Presented by Dr. Noura Bint Shaker Al-Shihri, the course addressed the fields of volunteer work for women such as: care for people with special needs, investigating and supporting the needs of needy families, participation in solving family problems, and holding lectures, courses and charitable projects. Dr. Noura also mentioned the qualities that a volunteer should have such as dedication to charitable work, time management, prioritizing works, passion about work, modesty and self-sacrifice. She also talked about the ways of voluntary work such as dissemination of information, identification of the need for volunteers, organization, preparation of volunteers, follow up and evaluation.
