Electricity Consumption Rationalization Lecture

The Student Activity Unit held a lecture entitled "Rationalization of Electricity Consumption" in cooperation with Dr. Zeinab Abdul Wahab Mohammed - Assistant Professor of Physics at the College - on Thursday, 6/6/1439 in the training room. The presenter talked about the importance of electricity in our lives, how it is accessed and the benefits of rationalization to the community. Different ways of electricity rationalization and the way of calculating ones' consumption after recent increase were explained. The lecture also addressed the responsibilities of the employee’s rationalization in the workplace, especially at public institutions. Assistant Vice-dean for Student Affairs Ms. Maha Bint Abdulrahman Al-Leifan provided a guide explaining energy consumption is calculated using the energy saving card for each device, and how to use the application “Confirm” available on the smart devices to detect the conformity of the electrical appliance to the requirements set by the Ministry of Commerce.
