The Competition of the Best Volunteer Work

The Students Activities Unit released, on Tuesday 9th December 2014, the result of the competition of the Best Volunteer Work that was presented by the deanship of students’ affairs, with the attendance of the deputy of the students’ affairs deanship and the jury that is composed of three members. The program contained the following: an introduction presented by the secretary of the Students’ Activities Unit, Prof. Haya Al-Sebay, and then the speech of the deputy of Students Affairs deanery, Dr. Safia Al-Shahrani, and the speech of Prof. Haytham Al-Majli, the assistant in the Islamic Studies department. Afterwards, a student of each project presented a visual display documented by photographs of their volunteer projects: “The Flow of Bestowal Project: a visit to the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center”, “sakya Project: a breakfast for workers of Hawtat Sudair”, and “Happiness Project: winter clothing for workers in the wilderness”. The program was closed by nominating the winning project “Sakya Project”, and with honoring winners and giving consolation prizes to all participants in the competition.
