The Astronomical Observatory received on Tuesday evening, 26/05/1436 AH corresponding to 17/03/2015 AD a number of visitors from the Social Activity Center at Khutamah. The trip was supervised by the following teachers: Mr. Ahmed Bin Ibrahim Abu Arqhob, Mr. Abdullah Hamad Al Issa, Mr. Majed Abdul Mohsen Aba Hussein and Mr. Solaiman Rabea Al Rabea. The visitors were warmly welcomed by the Observatory staff and experts headed by the Director of the Observatory, Mr. Abdullah Aba Hussein and the public relations executive Mr. Ahmed Al Gheiamneh,. At the beginning of the tour Dr. Sabri Ali and Mr. Abdullah Al Khudairi gave a detailed explanation on the telescopes, the solar system, the phases of the moon and the various nebulae and galaxies. The guests visited then the Planetarium where Prof. Majdi Yousef gave a detailed explanation on the movement of the stars, planets, the sun and the moon, as well as constellations formations. After that, there was an illustration of the planets and constellations depicted on the roof of the Planetarium. At the end, the visitors expressed their admiration for the astonishing Astronomical Observatory and thanked everyone for the warm reception and generous hospitality
