The Department of Chemistry is one of important departments in the college, as it was started with the emergence of the college in 1422-1423. It seeks to achieve self-sufficiency by forming highly competent female graduates and helping them acquire skills, attitudes and values. It also prepares them academically and professionally to work in various fields, including teaching and scientific research in order to link environment to science and technological development through the use of modern techniques and methods in various fields, which in turn leads helps stimulate the labor market and improve production on the locally and regionally.
