The student’ Academic guide

Academic Advising is the process of assisting students in their academic development and the discovery of their skills in addition to solving the problems related to their scientific disciplines and their university life plus introducing them the rules and regulations of their respective colleges. Responsibilities of Academic Advising Committee: • Preparing a special file for each student with his personal and educational information. • Explaining the student's plan in detail and clarifying the regulations on the registration of credit hours. • Illustrating graduation requirements according to the university system. • Evaluating students’ performance by academic observation to facilitate their studies and help them overcome academic problems. • Advising students about the procedures of major change, as well as the rules of course selection and withdrawal. • Solving Student problems such as course management, Time management and clarifying information retrieval skills and exam preparations.
