The goals of the College of Computer Science and Information are closely aligned with the university’s vision to contribute effectively to national development and competitiveness in the fields of information and communication technology. Through its advanced academic programs, the college aims to meet the needs of the job market by qualifying graduates, both locally and internationally, developing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and equipping them with the latest knowledge in computer science and information technology.
The college also prioritizes supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to keep pace with future job market demands. It is also committed to continuously improving the educational environment to inspire creativity and innovation.
In this context, the college has taken significant steps toward academic and institutional excellence. Despite being relatively new, it has earned the American ABET accreditation for its technical programs—an acknowledgment of the college’s strong focus on quality in all aspects of education. These efforts have been crowned by the achievements of our students, who have won numerous awards in prestigious tech competitions at both the local and international levels, reflecting the high level of training provided by the college.
