Tasks of the Unit

Supervise and submit the unit’s strategic plan to the college’s coordinator for educational affairs.
Implement the unit training plan.
Represent the unit in the college’s council meeting and the e-learning unit’s council at the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Learning.
Coordinate the unit meetings at the college.
Follow-up the implementation of quality standards for all e-learning elements.
Prepare regular reports about the unit performance and staff and submit them to the coordinator for educational affairs.
Resolve any potential obstacles that may hamper the progress of work.
Supervise executively the team assigned to design e-courses.
Update the data and activities of E-learning Unit at the university e-portal.
Manage online courses by supervising exams and forming exam committees for monthly and final exams.
Coordinate between the Deanship of E-Learning and distance course students at the college.
Manage the college account (faculty members’ reports, correction, grades…)
Coordinate with the Deanship of E-Learning to conduct training courses for faculty members.
Conduct courses for students on dealing with e-learning system.
Provide technical support to the college staff on e-learning system.
Coordinate with concerned official to publish the unit announcements.
Suggest educational and electronica ideas to improve the quality of education.
