The Foundation year requirements core courses provide students with preparatory courses in fundamental skills that are needed to successful enter the Bachelor of Science program in Information Technology.  Student in this year learn study intensive English courses along with basic computer skills and introduction to mathematics and physics.  The University requirements consist of several Islamic and Arabic courses with some liberal arts and general elective courses.  The mathematics, sciences and programming requirements, which constitute the college requirements, provide students with strong analytical and scientific foundation and the main computer and information sciences fundamentals. The information technology core courses provide students with integrated information technology knowledge and training in various areas of programming, Multimedia and Web design, System administration, system integration, human computer interactions, information security, cloud computing and database management systems. The program provides students in their fifth year of study with an option of four information technology specialized track. The first track is the Digital Forensic track where students take advance courses in Digital Forensics Foundations, Operating Systems Forensics, Mobile and network forensics, Malware and software vulnerability Analysis. The second track is the Cyber Security in which students take advance courses in Applied Cryptography, Network Security, Enterprise Cybersecurity, Software Security Design, Security Governance and Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Analysis. The third track is Networks and Systems Administration, in which students will have the opportunity to study Information Administration and Storage Technology, Infrastructure Environment and Network Servers, Database Management Systems, Global Information Management, Enterprise Architecture and Systems Design, Mobile and Wireless Networks, Concepts of Multimedia Processing and Transmission, Selected Topics in System Administration. The fourth track is Web and Multimedia Applications in which students will be taught Database Management Systems, Web Site Management, Web Development Using Content Management Systems, Digital Technology Applications, Information Visualization, Advanced Web Applications Development, Intelligent Systems, Mobile Applications, Selected Topics in Web Technologies, Selected Topics in Multimedia.
