Message from the Head of Department

I am delighted to welcome you to the Department of Information Technology at the College of Computer and Information Sciences. The department strives to create and promote a better learning and research environment that is accredited locally and globally in the field of information technology. The Department of IT also contributes to achieving the country’s Vision 2030 by providing knowledge and skills to students in line with the market’s needs in Saudi Arabia. The department has earned the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology “ABET”. Moreover, technical camps are held for students at levels 9th and 10th, particularly potential graduates, to train them with the necessary skills required in the market. Students can choose different track programs starting from levels 9 and 10. The aim of the various programs offered by the IT department is to prepare students to get professional certificates from global companies. Finally, we are proud that most of our alumni were hired which proves the importance of quality of educational outcomes for the department as well as for college.
