Message from the Vice-Rector
The Vice Rectorate for Development and Investment is one of the university’s key pivotal entities, representing its core functions. The university relies on it to achieve its goals in administrative, technical, construction, sustainability, investment, and community service fields—vital areas that significantly contribute to enabling the university to fulfill its principal missions.
In its effort to support the university administration in carrying out its responsibilities, the Vice Rectorate plays a major role in enhancing services provided to university members—both academic and administrative—achieving effective community partnerships aimed at individual development, improving performance, enhancing the university environment, and actively contributing to the achievement of the university’s strategic goals. These goals relate to administrative development, the advancement of the educational environment and university facilities, optimal investment of the university’s available resources, and meeting the requirements of sustainable development objectives.
Since its establishment, the team working within the Vice Rectorate has undertaken a planned approach to implement professional institutional practices. This, in turn, contributes to fostering a culture of teamwork, earnest efforts toward creativity, development, innovation, and initiative, aiming to elevate the performance of its tasks. These efforts are rooted in the principles, values, and philosophy of the society, under the continuous support of His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Muzel, based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques — may Allah protect him — the Crown Prince, and the follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Education in supporting the development journey.

- Oversee the planning and implementation of development strategies.
- Supervise programs aimed at institutional growth and sustainability.
- Set financial sustainability policies.
- Monitor the execution of sustainability initiatives.
- Supervise community service and social responsibility programs.
- Manage university facilities, infrastructure, and student housing.
- Ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
- Oversee administrative, technical, and medical services for university staff.
- Develop and manage the university’s capital project portfolios.
- Promote local content development aligned with national goals.
- Implement financial and project-related policies.
- Drive the university’s digital transformation strategy.
- Optimize the use of university assets and investments.
- Oversee campus safety, operations, and maintenance.
- Manage projects and initiatives under the Institute for Studies and Consulting Services.
- Oversee the implementation of university investment fund projects.
- Prepare and follow up on the university’s annual report.
- Monitor outcomes from financial audits.
- Lead efforts in administrative development.
- Support the implementation of Saudi Vision 2030 programs.
