Overview

Data Science is successfully adding value to all the business models by using statistics and deep learning to make better decisions and improve hiring. It is also being used to crunch the previous data and predict possible situations and risk so that we can work on avoiding them. In addition, the increase in the global growth rate on the introduction of Master of Data Science is another reason to establish this program. Furthermore, there is the need of the labor market for graduates from this field.

Requirements

Admission Requirements for the Master in Data Science

  1. The applicant must be Saudi or on a government scholarship for higher studies if they are non-Saudi.

  2. The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or Communications Engineering from a Saudi university or an-other recognized university.

  3. The applicant must have good conduct, behavior, and be medically fit.

  4. The applicant must provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them and hold a PhD degree, certified by the college from which the applicant graduated.

  5. The student must have obtained at least a "Very Good" grade in their undergraduate studies.

  6. A minimum score of 65 in the General Aptitude Test for university students.

  7. Passing the personal interview and written test.

  8. The applicant must have a score of (5) in the IELTS test or its equivalent in the National Center for Assessment (STEP) or one of the approved TOEFL tests (IBT, CBT, or PBT).
