Developing Research

  1. Research strategic goals:
  1. Providing scholarship for gifted lecturers to improve the quality of research in computer science and information.
  2. Increase the number of publications in peer-reviewed journals with the help of Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), which introduces researchers to the world’s top periodicals.
  3. Encourage faculty members to submit research proposals to the university and international funding agencies.
  4. Set up a research center for the following fields:
  • Digital forensic and cybersecurity
  • Cloud computing
  • Data mining
  • Mathematical modeling
  1. Sign deals with renowned universities and research institutions.
  2. Encourage faculty members to join editorial boards of periodicals.
  3. Encourage faculty members to be members of scientific organizational structures such as Computer Engineering Association and Association for Computing Machinery.
  4. Provide suggestions of necessary tools the college may need for research.

  • The CCSI strives to develop research and maintain that development through the learning courses.

Goals

Provide a minim of 1 scholarship annually in different field.

  1. Providing scholarship for gifted lecturers to improve the quality of research in computer science and information.

- Increase annually 5% in the number of publications in peer-reviewed journals during the period (2014-2019)

  1. Increase the number of publications in peer-reviewed journals with the help of Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), which introduces researchers to the world’s top periodicals.

Increase 10% in the research budget of the college every year during the period (2014-20190

  1. Encourage faculty members to submit research proposals to the university and international funding agencies.

Provide scholarships for outstanding faculty members in each field

  1. Set up a research center for the following fields:
  • Digital forensic and cybersecurity
  • Cloud computing
  • Data mining
  • Mathematical modeling

Sign at least one contract a year

  1. Sign deals with renowned universities and research institutions.

Increase 10% in academic collaboration each year
