Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has gone through several stages to keep pace with the civilizational, development and societal progress according to well-designed plans and accelerated practical steps. This development takes into account the best international experiences, international standards, and state-of-the-art methods in designing curricula and developing systems. This applies to capabilities, equipment, specialized human competencies, and study plans that meet the needs of all educational stages to achieve the highest levels of knowledge and excellence globally.
Technology plays a pivotal role in developing the national economy and improving the life quality for citizens. Through the Vision 2030, the Kingdom seeks to be a global platform for technology and innovation, by developing the digital infrastructure and enhancing investment in emerging technologies. To achieve this vision, the Kingdom has launched many technical initiatives and government digital transformation programs. To follow suit, Majmaah University has been an active player in spreading the technical culture, increasing awareness of e-transactions and their importance in building a knowledge society and linking technology concepts to the internal and external community.
With that in mind, MU's e-portal was developed to reflect the university’s progress, achievements, and the services provided to beneficiaries via advanced electronic systems. Since the office of the Rector is the channel for reaching out the university, a webpage was set up for this purpose in line with the duties assigned to the office.
