CCIS Meets the Scientific Committee of Majmaah University Community Service Award

The Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Shehri together with the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Ali bin Abdul Aziz Al-Hamdan, and the supervisor of the community service unit welcomed Dr. Abdullah Ali AL Mihissan, the members of Majmaah University Community Service Award.

At the beginning of the meeting, the dean welcomed the visit of the member of the scientific committee, and praised the role played by the Deanship of Community Service in spreading awareness of voluntary work to serve the community within the colleges of the university. Then he stressed that the College and its employees are keen to cooperate with the Deanship of Community Service to help in the success of community initiatives of the University. After that, the attendees discussed the mechanism for applying to the award. The member of the scientific committee clarified the requirements of the application and the target groups as well as the schedules for submission of candidates' files. The evaluation criteria for the different branches which target different groups were also discussed to clarify a number of points and to take recommendations from the College.

At the end of the meeting, the member of the Scientific Committee of Majmaah University Community Service Award thanked the Dean and the vice dean for their cooperation and keenness to actively participate in the award, as well as the permanent and fruitful cooperation between the College and the Deanship.
