A Course on how to develop independent learning skills

On Wednesday 29/2/1440, the Student Activity Unit at the College held a lecture entitled "how to develop independent learning skills ?", presented by Mr. Adel Humaidan Al-Shammari, a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science.

The lecture addressed:
• The importance of self-learning
• The need for self-learning
• The disadvantages of traditional education
• A brain-based learning model
• Learning strategies
• Available digital platforms

Topics of the course:
• Raising awareness of the importance of ongoing self-learning
• Understanding the brain-based learning model
• Identifying available digital learning resources

The Dean of the College stressed that these courses are part of the College's plan to organize many activities, programs and events that contribute in students' academic development.
