Course description

This course aims to  provide the student with the general principles of writing at the paragraph and essay levels. These principles are summed up in collecting and arranging ideas, choosing the appropriate main sentence or paragraph as an introduction, then the supporting sentences or paragraphs as the core of the topic, as well as choosing the appropriate conclusion if it comes to writing an essay. In this course, special emphasis is placed on the skill of technical writing in the field of business, and this includes an emphasis on selecting appropriate vocabulary while being careful to neutralize influence on the mother tongue.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

Write grammatically correct sentences.

Compose effective and well-organized paragraphs.

Understand and use grammatical structures effectively in writing.

Communicate with others in writing to provide information and ideas accurately.
