Visit to the Headquarters of Communication and Information Technology Commission

The Student Activity Unit at the college organized a visit to Headquarters of Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) in Riyadh for a number of students of the college in the departments of information technology and computer science, led by the head of the Unit Mr. Muhammad Al-Mansour.

The visit focused on introducing the electronic services provided by the CITC including infrastructure, technical systems, applications, technical support and operational security.
A summary was also presented about the mechanisms of blocking Internet sites and following-up reports received from the government agencies.

During the visit, the Data Center and Customer Care Center at the Commission were also checked by the visitors regarding the services provided to its employees.

An explanation was given about the special digital signature system and the information backup system.

At the end of the meeting and on behalf of the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehri, the Head of the Student Activity Unit thanked the staff of the Commission for providing the students with the opportunity to learn about the services provided by the Commission.
