Upon the directives of the Rector and the supervision of the college dean, CCIS welcomed King Fahd High School students accompanied by Mr. Salman AL Shammari. The visitors were first received at the college main hall to be then led to a tour in the college labs where they were briefed on each labs purposes, equipment as well as the innovations that can be carried out.
The visitors were then accompanied to the quality room to be welcomed by the college vice dean for graduate studies and research Dr. Ali AL Hamdan, the CS department Head, Dr. Sultan AL Shehri and faculty members. Dr. AL Hamdan welcomed the visitors and gave them an introductory idea about the college, departments, as well as the tracks. The vice dean gave the students pieces of advice on the choice of the specialization and its importance for the future in addition to tips on the ways to win an academic approval. The vice dean spoke also about university life and how to build and develop one's career.
Moreover, the welcoming members gave students an idea about the job and the entrepreneurial opportunities for computer science specialists as well as the modern investments in the field which make multi-billion profits at the international level. The floor was then given to the students to ask questions.
At the end of the visit the welcoming members extended their thanks to King Fahd students. The visiting supervisor extended in return his thanks and praised the visit as well as the need for communication between the college and high schools.
