CCIS DEAN Participates in the Saudi National Conference of Computer Colleges

His Excellency the Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, Dr. Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Amin Al-Sagheer, participated in the Saudi National Conference of Computer Colleges, which was hosted by Hail University on Wednesday and Thursday 25-26 of Jumada Al-Awal. The conference presented refereed scientific papers in the field of teaching Computer Science and Information Technology in addition to the National Programming Competition organized by the Committee of Deans of Computer Colleges in Saudi Universities

The Dean of the College was honored by chairing the main session of the conference, which was entitled "Integration between the graduates of the computer colleges and the labor market". The session included the participation of His Excellency the Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and the Ex-director of the Yassir Program Dr. Abdulrahman AL Oreini and Yamama Univeristy Dean Dr. Hossam Ramadan The session came out with important recommendations, the most important of which is the need for the colleges to focus on the technical skills and professional certificates to enhance the employment opportunities of the graduates, and the importance of the work of computer science colleges to update their study plans with the rapid changes in the field of information technology.

It is worth mentioning that a team of College students (male and female) participated in the national competition for programming held in the same conference, which is one of the most important means to stimulate students creativity and scientific competition in the field of programming in multiple computer languages
