A Training Course entitled “Principles, practices and Challenges of Big Data in line with Kingdom’s Vision 2030”

Based on the directive of the Dean, Dr. Omar Al-Omar and the follow-up of the Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shuweish, within the framework of the 5th Knowledge Development Program held at the College, a training course entitled “Principles, practices and Challenges of Big Data in line with Kingdom’s Vision 2030” was conducted by the Community Service Unit.
Presented by Dr. Faisal Nafa’e, the course addressed the following themes:
- What is Big Data
- Features of big data
- Benefits of big data
- Real examples of big data
- How big data was utilized by people in this world
Dr. Omar Al-Omar said this and similar courses are part of a plan set by the college targeting community members.
