A Training Course entitled “Advocacy Skills before Labor Courts”

At the request of the Dean, Dr. Omar Al-Omar to develop students’ self-ability, the Student Activity Unit conducted a training course entitled “Advocacy Skills before Labor Courts” on Sunday. The course was presented by Dr. Ali Hussein, Assistant Professor at Department of Law, and addressed the following themes:
First: types of courses in Saudi Arabia
Second: specializations of labor courts
Third: how to write a labor lawsuit
Fourth: defenses and the skills of using them in pleading
Fifth: strategies of objection in courts

The aims of the course are :
1. Promote the labor culture among trainees
2. Introduce students to the specializations of labor courts
3. Explain the conditions of accepting a lawsuit
4. Improve students’ skills on advocacy at labor courts
The Dean, Dr. Al-Omar said that these course are part of a wide-range of programs and activities to develop students’ skills.
