A Training Course on “The Art of effective Studying”

Under the directive of the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat Dr. Omar Al Omar, a training course titled: “The Art of effective Studying” was held on Monday by the Student Support Unit’s supervisor Dr. Mohammed Al-Essa.
The course aimed to teach the skills of effective studying, help students to excel academically and highlight the best skills that help to enhance academic performance and retain the academic information and knowledge.
Targeting the college students, the course addressed the major keys of academic excellence:
1. Realize the importance of science and learning
2.. Beware of peer-pressure and time killers
3. Do homework and review the lessons daily
4. Manage time and identify school priorities according to the time available
5. Study integrated topics
6. Draw a link between new information and the student's background to strengthen memory.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al Omar expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Student Support Unit for offering such training programs that help to develop the students’ academic performance.
