Workshop entitled 'problems and difficulties of academic advising'

On Tuesday 5/6/1439, the Student Support Unit held a workshop on the problems and difficulties of academic advising
The workshop aims to identify the importance of guidance process and how it is one of the principles that has an impact on the educational process.
The main topics discussed in the workshop were:
1. The role of the university professor in academic counseling
2. Educating students about the importance of academic advising
3. Introducing students to the university and college system
4. Guiding students how to choose their majors
5. Giving individual attention to high achievers and talented students
6. Giving individual attention for average students
7. Helping students who have psychological and social problems
The Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, expressed his thanks to the Student Support Unit for providing such developing training programs.
