At the request of the dean, Dr. Omar Al-Omar and the follow-up of the vice-dean at female campus, Ms. Reem Al-Mutairi, a virtual training course was held at the female campus, in cooperation with the Deanship of Scientific Research, entitled “Professional Ambition”.
Presented by Dr. Jihan Al-Majdobi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, on Tuesday, the course targeted the college faculty members and addressed the following topics:
1. What Latex and how to install it
2. A comparison of Latex with other software
3. A hands-on training of how to use Latex for writing a research paper
The dean pointed out that such courses are very important for the development of the college staff.
