A Training Course entitled: Strategic Planning and How to write a Strategic Plan

Based on the directive of the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities in Ghat, Dr. Omar Al-Omar and the follow-up of the Vice-Dean for Development and Quality, Dr. Ali Al-Sa’awi, the Training Unit conducted a training course entitled: “Strategic Planning and How to write a Strategic Plan”.
Presented by Dr. Faisal Nafe’a, the course addressed the following topics:
- Definition of strategic planning
- Benefits of strategic planning
- Obstacles facing strategic planning
- Who should participate in writing the strategic plan
- Stages of strategic planning
- Determine the institutions identity
- Set the primary and secondary objectives
- Set the executive plan
- Follow up the achievement
Dr. Omar Al-Omar said this and similar courses are conducted within the college’s plan for further programs and activities targeting faculty members.
