"Saudi Arabia's Efforts in Combating Drugs" Course

The Student Activity Unit held a training course entitled "Saudi Arabia's Efforts in Combating Drugs", which was presented on Wednesday 18/07/1439 by Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Issa, Assistant Professor at the Department of Law.
The topics of the course were:
• The definition of drugs, types of smuggling and the efforts of Drug Police Department
• Efforts of the Kingdom at the international, regional and national level in the fight against drugs
• Social and economic negative effects of drugs
• The role of the family in combating drugs
The session aimed at:
• Reducing the spread of drugs among members of society
• Creating a healthy, social and cultural awareness among students of the harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse
• Achieving coordination of efforts between government and non-governmental institutions in the fight against drugs
The Dean of the College, Dr. Omar Al-Omar, said that these courses come within the preparations of the College for many activities and programs.
He also stressed the need to provide students with all the necessary courses to develop their abilities.
