A Workshop for Faculty members on “ Criteria of Program Evaluation and how to write a Start Report”.”

The Quality Assurance Unit conducted on Monday a workshop for faculty members entitled “ Criteria of Program Evaluation and how to write a Start Report”. Presented by Dr. Mubarak Mansour at the honorary hall, the workshop provided a detail explaining of the standards of evaluation for a program and how to write a star report. All types of accreditation that an institution would seek have been mentioned. Dr. Mansour stated the distinction between evaluation and assessment as well as the difference between institutional accreditation and program accreditation. The way of using star report for self-assessment along with other types of assessments were mentioned in the workshop. The Workshop is part of a plan set by the Quality Assurance Unit to promote the culture of quality among faculty members at the college and to ensure academic programs at scientific departments are ready for the internal auditing which will take place on 12/7/1440.
