Workshop entitled "Authenticating the Prophetic Hadiths"

In cooperation with the Department of Contemporary Islamic Studies of Houtat Sudair College, the Community Service Unit held a workshop entitled "Authenticating the Prophetic Hadiths" on Wednesday, 19/6/1439 AH at Department of Contemporary Islamic Studies, presented by Dr. Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Othman.
The workshop targeted the imams of mosques and preachers in the area of Sudair emphasizing on the importance of authenticating the prophetic Sunnah and providing examples of how our predecessors used to be honest when reporting it. A clear definition of the term “authenticating” and its types were explained along with relating them to the actions of the Prophet Muhammad - peace be upon him -.
