An Awareness-raising Campaign on Digital Security

Sponsored by the Vice-Dean of female section Dr. Nora Al-Shihri and in cooperation with both Intellectual Security Unit and Community Service Unit, an awareness-raising campaign on digital security entitled “information security is my responsibility” was launched on Monday, 18/6/1439H under the supervision of Ms. Bayan Rasheed, a lecturer at the Computer Sciences Department.

Dr. Noura Al-Shahri launched the exhibition associated with the campaign. The exhibition included several sections offering technical tips on information security in the form of booklets. A hand-one explanation was provided of how to protect your PC. An online Twitter account was created in order to provide tips on information security.
The campaign is an evidence of the University's desire to pay more attention for digital and information security.
