The girls’ campus of the Computer Science and Information College organized an introductory workshop on Wednesday 28-12-1435 regarding the Sixth Scientific Conference for tertiary education students in Saudi Arabia. The conference is the premier annual competitive forum for students as well as the most attracting of their creations. In fact, it aims to provide talented students in the Kingdom with an opportunity to highlight their gifts through the various themes and events it offers. The conference seeks also to raise the cultural and scientific level and to promote research and creative values of male and female students in addition to developing their culture of creativity and innovation.
The workshop presented the Conference, its main themes and events aiming to encourage students to register and participate. The students’ activities unit coordinator professor. Amal AL Juhaini inaugurated the workshop by the welcome speech then proceeded to an overview presentation where she introduced the Sixth Scientific Conference, its targets and themes. The university and kingdom student winners of the previous academic year took then the floor to speak about their success and participation experiences in addition to the impact of such event in promoting their self-confidence and sense of pride first in representing AL Majmaah University at the level of the Kingdom and second in winning coronation.
By the end of the meeting a group of female students asked some questions on the scientific conference and expressed their wish to register and participate in future events.
