CCIS Welcomes Freshmen For the Second Semester of the Academic Year 1439/1440 AH

The College of Computer and Information Sciences welcomed the new students enrolled in the college for the second semester of the academic year 1439/1440 AH. The freshmen were met by the college dean Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Shehri, Dr. Ali AL Hamdan the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies, and faculty members.

The freshmen listened first to a welcoming speech then toured the college rooms and laboratories with a number of faculty members and students of the Student Advisory Council to familiarize with the facilities of the College .

A meeting was then held with the new comers which was attended by the college leaders, heads of scientific departments, a number of faculty members, and supervisors of the academic units to clarify matters related to educational affairs, academic services, student activities and professional academies in the college. A documentary film was played to present the college achievements and the participation of its students in international and local events in addition to the second technical camp.

The meeting was concluded by an open discussion between the new students and the leaders of the college and faculty members to answer their inquiries and wish them a successful year.
