CCIS Organizes the Academic Advising Week for The 1439/1440 Spring Term

The CCIS Academic Advising Unit at the College of Computer and Information Sciences give utmost care to provide excellent advising services to its students. In this framework and under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Shehri, the Unit implemented the academic advsing bweek in both its male and female sections.

The head of the unit held a meeting with the academic advisors to explain the work plan during the drop and add week. The Unit Chair emphasized the importance of communication with all students in addition to discussing the registration, addition and dropping options in line with the regulations of study and tests and the executive rules at the university. The recommendation was not to affect students’ graduation and help them boost their GPA.

The academic advising week was attended by a majority of students and intensive meetings were held with their advisors. During the whole process the unit provided support to advisors and students in solving the problems they faced.
