CCIS Conducts Virtual Revision Classes

In order to prepare the students for the final tests and to use distance learning technologies in the university, the College of Computer and Information Sciences in cooperation with the Deanship of electronic and distance learning conducted the virtual review classes for a number of courses in the first levels of programming, data structures and operating systems.

The virtual classes witnessed the participation of a large number of students in the college and the corresponding departments during the evening period on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Students fully reviewed the contents of the courses and the vocabulary of the units and had as well their inquiries answered simultaneously. Moreover, lectures were recorded and uploaded in the digital repository of the D2L learning system to allow students to re-watch them and enable students who were unable to attend the virtual classes to watch them at the right times.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Hisham Bin Mohammed Al-Saghir, thanked the Deanship of Electronic and Distance Learning for their active initiative of providing this service in the D2L system, coordinating with faculty and students, and for facilitating registration and implementation of the virtual classes in a timely manner and before the beginning of the final tests.
