CCIS Awarded Rector First Prize of Excellence in E-learning

The College of Computer and Information Sciences was awarded the Rector’s first prize of excellence in e-learning (E-curricular Section). Mr. Ahmad Bin Ibrahim AL Otaibi won the prize for his data structures course which was designed and developed according to top international standards. The course excelled in its quality of construction and its high level of interactivity in educational activities. Furthermore, the course was selected at the university level to participate in the Ministry of Higher Education competition of the National Electronic and Distance Learning Centre .

CCIS dean, Dr. Hisham AL Saghir, noted that the course was the result of a strenuous and distinctive work. On his and on colleagues’ behalf he congratulated Mr. Otaibi for the honor he got from his Excellency the rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad AL Mogran knowing that such prize ranks among the top awards at the university level.
