Established in 2009 (1430 AH), the College of Engineering has rapidly positioned itself as a strong competitor among well-established engineering colleges nationwide. Through determination, perseverance, and the dedicated efforts of its leadership, faculty, staff, and students, the College has secured a leading place among its counterparts
The College has four academic departments: Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Architectural Engineering & Interior Design. It also offers a Master of Science program in Renewable Energy Engineering and collaborates with the College of Applied Medical Sciences, to offer a Master of Science program in Biomedical Engineering.
The College has earned academic accreditation from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA) for its Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering programs. It also has earned prestigious international accreditation from ABET (the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) for these same programs.
The College’s achievements extend beyond accreditation. It has received numerous awards at national and international conferences, exhibitions, and scientific forums, and has registered multiple patents and innovations. Our researchers have earned excellence awards in scientific research, publication, innovation, and invention, while our student teams have been repeatedly recognized for their outstanding performances in academic, cultural, and athletic competitions.
