In Cooperation With The Unit Of Plans And Study Programs At The Vice Presidency For Educational Affairs At The University, Faculty Of Education Holds A Workshop Entitled

(The Mechanisms For The Preparation Of Study Plans And The Steps To Approve Them)

In order to unify the mechanisms of study plans adoption at the departments of Faculty of Education in Majmaah, Faculty of Education, represented by Dr. Abdulrahman Al Sabet, Dean of the College, and Dr. Bander Al Yahya, Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, has invited the Unit of Plans and Study Programs at the Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs at the University, represented by Dr. Tawfiq Al Kanhal, Supervisor of the Unit, and his colleague Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Qawasmi and Dr. Ihab Abdel Ati, to participate in the workshop that revolves about study plans and the steps to approve these plans at the College.

 Dean of the College and Vice Dean for Educational Affairs have started the meeting by welcoming the guests and thanked them for accepting the invitation. Then  Dr. Tawfiq Al-Kanhal and his colleague have delivered a speech together with visual display, hence the presentation focused on the theoretical framework linked with the steps followed in adopting the study plans and some official procedures and regulatory issues in the sequence of these steps.

After that, an open discussion has been brought up concerning the obstacles and questions raised by the Unit of Plans and Study Programs at the College and the ways to overcome these obstacles; among the most important topics that were discussed the program of field training at the departments of Faculty of Education, as well as the national framework for qualifications and learning outputs. During the meeting Vice Deans of the College, Heads of Departments and members of teaching staff from both male and female sections have participated in the open discussion.

At the end of the meeting, Dean of the College stressed on the importance of such meetings and the need for holding them again and again thanking everyone for their contributions and interactions.
