Message from the Head of Department

On behalf of my colleagues in the Department of Special Education at Majmaah University, I am pleased to welcome you to our website which features the vision, mission, goals, programs and achievements. The Department of Special Education was founded since the establishment of the university in 2009. The department always seeks to create an environment conducive to education and research by teaching modern curricula in the field of special education that address educational and social issues facing disabled people as well as their integration into their society.

The department also strives to create a cooperative educational and research environment for faculty member by holding seminars, lectures, courses, workshops, and periodic seminars which will provide opportunities for them to exchange their thoughts in scientific research.

The department offers a Master of Arts program in Special Education for both male and female students who are expected to serve the public and private sector as well as people with special needs. The department has a group of qualified faculty members, some of whom are scholarship students overseas. The department is always on the look out for developmental actions to make the department an attractive environment for faculty members and students.
