Students Of The College Pay A Visit To The University Library To Revive The Week Of Libraries Within Saudi Universities

College of Education in Majmaah has arranged for its students a visit to the university library, to revive the week of libraries within Saudi universities, on Tuesday 27/12/1435 H. Therefore, the main goal of this visit is to highlight the role of the library in building the mentality of the student and refine his scientific and literary talents, and help him to acquire knowledge in various fields, in addition to, encourage the spirit of team work as well as instill the values of cooperation and participation and their impact on the completion of their assigned tasks. Also, the other task of this visit is to inform students on what this library does contain of potentials, equipment, resources, and scientific and literary references in our nascent university; to make use of them in the preparation of scientific research as an initial step to master the way of conducting scientific research in future and having the tools of scientific research in different specialties, particularly the outstanding and distinguished students. This visit has created to the students the need to maintain this great edifice as one of the university's edifices. Prior to this visit, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Al Tawalah, has met the students showing them the objectives of this visit and its value as well, to highlight the role of libraries, and their importance in the practice of educational and cultural activities organized by the college on the purpose of students' recreation in their leisure times. Secretary of Student Activity in the College, Dr. Alsayed Yahya Mohammed, has accompanied the students in this visit as well as a group of faculty members at the college. At the end of the visit students have got acquainted with the way of accessing information in the library- from those who are in charge of the university library, the commemorative photo was clear evidence on the best conclusion of this generous visit by the College.
