Opening Of The E-Learning Unit

Dean of the College of Education in Majmaah has opened the headquarter of the E-Learning Unit in the College in the presence of Vice Deans of the College and Heads of Department , therefore, the Director of t the Unit, Mr. Faisal Al Shammari, has reviewed features of the hall and what the Unit does provide of services for the College of educational courses in the field of e-learning system and the university e-learning system, as well as the reports of technical support, which will actually begin after Eid al-Adha holiday , that are aimed at both university students and faculty members as well. The hall provides the availability of better training means to the members of the faculty and students in the field of e-learning technologies and their new applications in higher education, also the hall has been equipped with the latest technical and office equipment in this area, and contains sophisticated educational equipment such as the interactive board, which is operating by touch characteristic, linked to the Internet via Ethernet cable, and with Access Point for the distribution of high-speed Internet wireless signal, and a private telephone for the Unit, as the hall is equipped with movable tables, where this hall is part of a series of Deanship projects, which seeks to achieve according to the strategic plan of the College. On this occasion, Dean of the College, Dr. Al Sabet, expressed his thanks and appreciation to all who contributed to the success of this project, and praising the support provided by his Excellency the Rector of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, referring to the role played by Deanships and university Departments in the completion of this work such as the Deanship of E-Learning, and Deanship of Information Technology.
