Educational Lectures in conjunction with the World Week of Sign Language

A delegation of experts in sign language paid a visit to the College of Education in Majmaah on Wednesday 16/1/1440H, in conjunction with the World Week of Sign Language on September 23. The delegation included: Mr. Khalofah AlShehri, Mr. Saed Al Otaibi, the students Nasser Al Harbi and Abdullah AlMutairi.
The delegation met a number of the college leaders, visited the department of Special Education, and toured the college departments. They also presented awareness and educational lectures to the students and a number of faculty members on the deaf culture and sign language.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, Head of Planning and Development Unit and the Community Service Unit in the college had a major role in coordinating and interpreting using the sign language.
